Indonesia's badminton team is preparing for the 2026 Badminton Asia Championships (BAC) on April 7-12 at Ningbo Olympic Sports Center, China. In this BWF Super 1000 tournament, Indonesia aims for both regeneration and achievement.

Alongside senior athletes, Indonesia is giving court time to two debutants, a strategic move to build squad depth for the future.

The spotlight shines on the Women's Singles debut of Thalita Ramadhani Wiryawan, marking her first appearance at the Badminton Asia Championships.

For Thalita, this opportunity is a major test after experiencing international competition at the Badminton Asia Team Championships.

The second debut comes in men's doubles through the young pair Devin Artha Wahyudi/Ali Faathir Rayhan, ready to test their skills at Asia's elite level.

These debuts form part of Indonesia's long-term strategy to maintain regeneration amid Asia's intense badminton competition.

While giving space to new players, the Red-and-White team still relies on experienced players to maintain competitiveness.

In men's singles, Jonatan Christie will lead alongside two young talents, Alwi Farhan and Moh Zaki Ubaidillah.

Meanwhile, women's singles still depends on Putri Kusuma Wardani, who has been a pillar in recent years.

In men's doubles, Indonesia maintains its core strength through pairs Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri and Sabar Karyaman Gutama/Moh Reza Pahlevi Isfahani.

Additionally, the pair Raymond Indra/Nikolaus Joaquin is expected to bring fresh dynamics.

Women's Doubles features Febriana Dwipuji Kusuma/Meilysa Trias Puspitasari, Rachel Allessya Rose/Febi Setianingrum, and Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti/Amallia Cahaya Pratiwi.

In mixed doubles, Indonesia fields four pairs: Jafar Hidayatullah/Felisha Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu, Amri Syahnawi/Nita Violina Marwah, Adnan Maulana/Indah Cahya Sari Jamil, and Bobby Setiabudi/Melati Daeva Oktavianti.

With this blend of experience and youthful energy, Indonesia not only targets peak results but also aims to ensure seamless regeneration at the 2026 Badminton Asia Championships.
