Peralta treats Persib's status as defending champions as motivation, not pressure

Reasons Peralta Chose Persib
Peralta admitted he feels proud to join Persib Bandung. For the 27-year old player, transferring to Persib - who have won the league title for three consecutive seasons - is one of the biggest milestones in his professional career.
He views Persib as one of the biggest clubs in Indonesia, with a long history, prestigious achievements, and fan support that always fills the entire stadium.
"I am very happy to be here. Persib is a huge club in Indonesia, has massive numbers of supporters, and is a champion club. That is the main reason I chose to join Persib," said the former Borneo FC player.
Projected as Core Forward Line Asset
Persib brought in Mariano Peralta to strengthen head coach Igor Tolic's squad ahead of the packed match schedule next season.
Maung Bandung will compete in four different competitions, requiring solid squad depth especially in the attacking sector. Peralta will wear the number 10 jersey.
With prior experience competing in Indonesian domestic football with Borneo FC, Peralta is expected to adapt quickly and become one of Persib's main attacking drivers right from the start of the season.
