Persib Bandung has welcomed the arrival of their new striker Mariano Peralta. The Argentine forward arrived in Bandung on the evening of Monday 27 July, and was warmly received by the club management board as well as the Bobotoh supporters.

Peralta was signed as part of Persib's ongoing efforts to finalise the squad structure assembled by head coach Igor Tolic. He is expected to help strengthen Maung Bandung's attacking capabilities ahead of the tightly packed competitive fixture schedule for the upcoming season.

Peralta arrived at Tegalluar KCIC Station at approximately 21.30 WIB after completing a long journey from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Upon arrival in Bandung, the 28-year-old player was greeted by Persib Team Manager and Commissioner of PT Persib Bandung Bermartabat, Umuh Muchtar.

Peralta had previously departed Buenos Aires on Saturday 25 July alongside his agent Thomas Lezcano. After landing at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport around 18.00 WIB, he received an enthusiastic welcome from dozens of Bobotoh who had gathered to greet him.

Umuh Muchtar expressed gratitude that Peralta's travel and arrival process went without issue. He stated his hope that the Argentine player can quickly settle in and deliver positive contributions for the squad.

"Praise be to God, Mariano has finally arrived in Bandung safely and in good health. We welcome him with full joy as part of the greater PERSIB family. We hope he can quickly adapt to this new environment, understand the team's character, and enjoy the atmosphere of Bandung city that always brings positive energy for every player," stated Umuh.

Persib management holds high expectations that Peralta will meet the hopes of the Bobotoh with consistent top performances throughout the season.

"Thank you to every single Bobotoh for this incredible welcome from the moment Mariano first set foot in Indonesia. This kind of support and warmth is one of PERSIB's greatest strengths," he added.

For his part, Peralta shared that he was deeply impressed by the reception he received upon arriving in Indonesia. He noted that the passion shown by the Bobotoh has given him extra motivation to immediately join the squad and begin training.

"I am so happy to finally be here in Bandung. The welcome I have received ever since arriving in Indonesia is truly incredible, it makes me feel accepted as part of the greater PERSIB family. I cannot wait to meet my new teammates, join training sessions, and soon take the pitch in front of the Bobotoh. I will give my absolute best every single day to help this team achieve great results. Thank you so much for this warm welcome. I hope we can enjoy a wonderful season together and earn many successes as one," he said.

Peralta is scheduled to join Persib's official squad training programme imminently. The adaptation period with Igor Tolic's team will be a critical stage before he makes his official competitive debut for Maung Bandung.

With the signing of Mariano Peralta, Persib aims to have a far more competitive attacking line for the 2026/2027 competitive season.

The full support shown by the Bobotoh from his very first day in the country will also be valuable foundation for the striker as he works to showcase his full quality on the pitch.
