Indonesia National Team Lineup against Cambodia for the 2026 AFF Cup: Herdman Deploys a Surprise Formation

The Indonesia National Team has officially announced the squad that will begin their 2026 AFF Cup campaign when they face Cambodia in their opening Group A fixture. This match is scheduled to take place at Pakansari Stadium, Bogor, on Monday 27 July 2026, with kick-off at 20.30 WIB.

Head coach John Herdman made a number of notable decisions when finalising the starting line-up. In goal, Nadeo Argawinata has been trusted as the final line of defence for the Garuda Squad in this opening match.
