2026 President's Cup Results: DPMM FC and Tampines Rovers Share the Points

DPMM FC and Tampines Rovers shared the points after both sides played out a draw in the opening Group A fixture of the 2026 President's Cup, held at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, Bandung Regency on Saturday 25 July 2026.

After falling behind in the first half, DPMM fought back to score two quick goals immediately following the halftime break. Tampines refused to surrender, and ultimately forced a final 2-2 draw.

Tampines opened the scoring just three minutes into the match. Hide Higashikawa netted an early goal finishing off a counter attack, putting Tampines ahead 1-0.

DPMM dominated ball possession and created multiple scoring opportunities, but were unable to convert any before the break. The Brunei Darussalam side ended the first half trailing 0-1.

As the second half kicked off, DPMM responded immediately with an equalising goal.

Azwan Ali Rahman levelled the scoreline in the 47th minute, before providing the assist for Oscar Santis' goal in the 60th minute. DPMM turned the match around to take a 2-1 lead.

Momentum appeared to be firmly with the Brunei Darussalam representatives.

However, Tampines Rovers maintained their composure. In the 71st minute, Faris Ramli converted an accurate delivery from Kenshin Yamazaki from close range, bringing the score to 2-2.

Both sides continued to press each other right up until the final whistle, but no additional goals were scored.

With this result, both teams collected one point apiece.
