A heated atmosphere envelops Parc des Princes ahead of the PSG vs Bayern Munich Champions League match on Wednesday, November 4, 2025, early morning WIB. This match is not only about competing for the top spot in the Champions League group standings but also a stage for Bayern to redeem themselves after their loss to PSG in the 2025 Club World Cup.
Bayern coach, Vincent Kompany, emphasized that his team must deliver a perfect performance to conquer the reigning European champions.
"I think you have to believe you can do it, and it takes a perfect game," Kompany stated in the press conference quoted from the club's official website, Tuesday, November 3, 2025.

Kompany is aware that facing a team like PSG is no easy task.
"It's the classic answer. They are last season's Champions League winners and favorites this season. However, we still have to believe in our chances," he continued.
Bayern and PSG Remain Perfect
Bayern arrive in Paris with extraordinary form, 15 consecutive wins across all competitions, three of them in the Champions League, the best record among Europe's top five leagues. This streak even surpasses AC Milan's record (13 wins in the 1992/93 season).
However, PSG is also not an opponent to be underestimated. The team led by Luis Enrique is undefeated in their last eight matches and is currently at peak performance.
One of the biggest threats for Bayern comes from Ousmane Dembélé, the 2025 Ballon d'Or winner, who scored the decisive goal when PSG eliminated Bayern in the quarter-finals of the 2025 Club World Cup.
Kompany does not want his team to repeat the same mistake.
"Against PSG, the key is the collective. It's not enough to focus on just one player," Kompany stressed.
"There are individual aspects... but what makes this team so strong is that they work as a unit in every phase of the game."
Both teams have identical statistics. After three group stage matches, PSG and Bayern both have 9 points from three wins with a +8 goal difference.
Kompany called this duel a crucial moment in the quest for a knockout stage ticket.
"Whoever wins tomorrow will take a big step towards the last eight (and qualifying for the knockout stage)," said the young Belgian coach.
The match is expected to be open and highly intense, given that both teams rely on fast play and aggressive pressing.
