The Indonesian Women's Doubles pair Indonesian Women's Doubles Janice Tjen and Aldila Sutjiadi delivered an impressive performance as they advanced to the Semifinals of the 2026 Nottingham Open. Competing at this WTA 250 grass court tournament in Nottingham, England, the pair put on a dominant display to secure their spot in the final four.

The third-seeded Janice/Aldila defeated Czech duo Miriam Kolodziejova and Jesika Maleckova in straight sets 6-1, 6-2, with the match lasting only 57 minutes.

Right from the start of the match, the Red and White representative pair took full control of the game. They claimed four consecutive games in the opening set.

Match statistics show that Janice/Aldila held the clear advantage in both first serve points conversion and return play effectiveness.

Kolodziejova/Maleckova briefly took one game to disrupt Janice/Aldila's match rhythm. However, the Indonesian pair responded immediately by winning the next two games to close out the first set with a convincing 6-1 scoreline.

This dominance carried over fully into the second set. Janice and Aldila's consistent execution made it impossible for their opponents to maintain stable game momentum.

The second set unfolded almost identically to the first. Janice/Aldila remained in full control of the match flow, only briefly slowed when their opponents cut the deficit to 2-5.

This minor resurgence from the Czech pair did not last. Keeping their composure and playing to their standard, Janice/Aldila closed out the very next game to seal the match with a final 6-2 second set victory.

This win serves as a much needed positive turnaround for the Indonesian pair, following underwhelming results across their prior several tournaments. They have now regained their peak form at the critical late stage of this competition.

Progressing to the Semifinals also puts Janice/Aldila in position to repeat their past title winning runs, which include the WTA 125 Suzhou in China and the WTA 250 Chennai in India.

In the upcoming semifinal round, Janice and Aldila will face the winner of the fixture between top seeds Storm Hunter / Caty McNally and home pairing Maia Lumsden / Harriet Dart.
