Al Nassr is preparing to make a major splash in the summer transfer market by targeting Mohamed Salah as their primary objective. The Saudi Arabian club sees an opportunity following the Liverpool forward's announcement that he will leave Anfield at the end of this season.
Salah's departure will conclude a glorious nine-season era with The Reds. During this period, the 33-year-old player transformed into one of the club's greatest icons with remarkable achievements.
Salah has recorded 257 goals and 122 assists in 439 appearances for Liverpool. Beyond his impressive productivity, he also delivered nine trophies to Anfield, cementing his status alongside modern legends of the Merseyside club.

Now, Salah's future has become one of the hottest stories in the global transfer market. Several clubs have been linked with signing the Egyptian star, but Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr is reportedly in the leading position.
According to World Soccer Talk News, Al Nassr has made Salah their top priority. The club, nicknamed The Global Club, believes Salah's arrival would not only strengthen the team on the pitch but also unlock significant commercial potential in the Arabian Peninsula.
Salah's status as a successful player on the European Football stage adds particular appeal.
His profile is expected to enhance the club's image, expand its fanbase, and deliver substantial Business impact.
Internal support has reportedly come from Cristiano Ronaldo. Al Nassr's main star is said to highly value Mohamed Salah's quality and fully supports the transfer.
CR7 believes the former AS Roma player can add real value to the squad, both in attacking quality and top-level experience.
However, no official offer has been made yet. Al Nassr is holding back on formal talks as manager Jorge Jesus wants to maintain the team's focus until season's end.
Jesus has refused to allow negotiations to start before competitions conclude.
Al Nassr still has chances to win the Saudi Arabian League and ACL League Two, so management doesn't want transfer rumors disrupting dressing room concentration.
Nevertheless, Al Nassr's path to securing Salah won't be easy. Two domestic rivals, Al Hilal and Al Ittihad, are also reportedly interested in bringing Salah to the Saudi Pro League.
Should this transfer materialize, Salah's arrival would become one of the biggest moves of summer 2026.
For Al Nassr, this represents not just a star signing but a strategic step to strengthen their dominance both on the field and on the global stage.
