A big night awaits Cristiano Ronaldo in the Saudi Pro League or Saudi Arabian League. After waiting for over three years since joining Al Nassr in January 2023, the Portuguese Megastar stands on the brink of winning his first league title in the Middle East.

This opportunity will be decided in the heated 32nd-week match when Al Nassr hosts their main rival, Al Hilal, at Al Awwal Park, Riyadh, on Wednesday, May 12 early morning WIB.

Currently, Al Nassr leads the Standings with 82 points from 32 matches. Meanwhile, Al Hilal continues to trail closely in second place with 77 points and still has one game in hand.

This situation makes the match feel like a title-deciding final. Al Nassr must win if they want to secure the Saudi Arabian League trophy earlier this season.

If they manage to defeat Al Hilal, Jorge Jesus's squad will collect 85 points. That total would certainly be unreachable by Al Hilal for the rest of the season.

The Blue Waves can only reach a maximum of 83 points even if they win all their remaining matches. This means an Al Nassr victory over their city rivals would instantly secure the championship title.

For Ronaldo, this moment holds far greater significance than just a trophy. Since arriving in Saudi Arabia under the world's spotlight in early 2023, the 41-year-old player has continuously been the main face of Saudi Football's transformation on the global stage.

Despite successfully scoring many goals and bringing a huge commercial impact, Ronaldo has so far been unable to deliver a league title for Al Nassr.

Therefore, the duel against Al Hilal becomes an opportunity to end a title drought that has lasted for 3.5 years.

The atmosphere in Riyadh is sure to heat up, given that the rivalry between the two clubs always brings high tension.

On one side, Al Nassr wants to secure their dominance this season. On the other side, Al Hilal is still trying to keep hope alive for maintaining the competition until the final week.

Now, all attention is focused on Cristiano Ronaldo. One more victory could turn Al Nassr's long season into new history and place the Portuguese superstar back on the throne of domestic league champions.
