Jon Rahm sent a strong message to his rivals at LIV Golf Mexico City 2026. The Spanish Golfer dominated the final round on Sunday local time, securing the individual title with a six-stroke victory.
Rahm closed the tournament at Club de Golf Chapultepec with the lowest score in the final round, a bogey-Free 7-under 64. That impressive record placed him finishing at a total of 21-under, ahead of young star Fireballs GC's David Puig.
This victory stands as the most dominant among Rahm's four individual titles since joining LIV Golf before the 2024 season. This result also makes him the player with the most trophy collection in LIV Golf competition.

In addition to the individual title, Rahm also led Legion XIII to capture the team trophy by a nine-stroke margin.
He has now collected 16 LIV Golf trophies, one more than Bryson DeChambeau of Crushers GC, despite playing two fewer seasons.
“A little hard to believe,” said Rahm, after a disappointing T-38 finish at the Masters the previous week.
“If you told me last week that I would win by six strokes this week, I wouldn't have believed you because I played so badly. Amazing effort, and an amazing Sunday.”
Starting the day with a two-stroke lead, Rahm immediately stepped on the gas. After opening with a par, he birdied the 318-yard par-4 second hole after reaching the green and making a two-putt from 66 feet.
The momentum continued on the 390-yard par-4 third hole. Rahm again reached the green with a brilliant tee shot that stopped less than three feet from the hole for an easy eagle.
Birdies from 14 feet and 20 feet on the next two holes widened his lead to six strokes. At that point, the competitors began to fall far behind.
Meanwhile, his Legion XIII teammate, Tyrrell Hatton, who started the day only two strokes behind and playing in the same group as Rahm, instead suffered a double bogey on the second hole and failed to recover.
“Jon clearly played amazingly today,” said Hatton, who carded a 1-over 72 and finished tied for fifth.
“He started perfectly, and unfortunately for me it was a tough day.”
David Puig applied pressure with a fast start, birdying three of the first four holes and eagling the par-5 seventh hole.
When Puig birdied the 10th hole, Rahm's lead was cut to three strokes.
“I still felt I had a chance, even with the great start he had,” said Puig.
But Rahm showed Champion mentality when he saved a crucial par on the 10th hole with a 15-foot putt after an errant tee shot.
He then added a birdie on the par-5 12th hole, while Puig made bogeys on the 13th and 15th holes.
“That was a huge putt on the 10th hole,” said Rahm.
“That's a moment that doesn't show on the scorecard. A six-stroke lead can quickly become three, even one or two by the end.”
In the team sector, Legion XIII was never really threatened. Although their record 19-stroke lead after 36 holes was cut by Fireballs, they still won comfortably.
That title marks Legion XIII's ninth victory in the regular season, tying the Crushers' record as the most successful team.
Rahm is increasingly solid towards a third consecutive individual championship. In the first six tournaments of the season, he has recorded two wins, three solo runner-up finishes, and one fifth-place finish.
