Puncak area in Bogor has long been recognized as one of the favorite Destinations for travelers seeking cool mountain air. Now, the area is preparing to launch a new ecotourism destination that not only offers an attractive visit experience but also creates economic opportunities for local communities.

The Nature Tourism developer EIGER Adventure Land has begun recruiting employees, prioritizing workers from the Megamendung Subdistrict area in Bogor Regency. This initiative has received appreciation from local authorities for its positive impact on the community.

The recruitment program has been met with enthusiastic public response. Over 600 applicants from Megamendung Subdistrict and other areas in Bogor Regency participated in the selection process, which included psychometric tests and interviews.

Megamendung Subdistrict Head Ridwan stated in Bogor on Sunday, March 8, 2026, that the company has opened job opportunities for residents near the ecotourism development area.

"We appreciate EIGER Adventure Land for opening job vacancies and prioritizing local workforce absorption. This is a positive step toward improving our community's welfare," said Ridwan.

He emphasized that employment opportunities for local residents would significantly boost Megamendung's economic development.

He also reminded recruitment participants to approach the selection process with enthusiasm and optimism.

"Follow this process diligently, maintain your spirit, and don't be discouraged if results don't immediately meet expectations. Opportunities will come to those who persistently strive," he advised.

EIGER Adventure Land CEO Imanuel Wirajaya explained that this recruitment reflects the company's commitment to developing ecotourism areas focused not only on Tourist Destinations but also on Community Empowerment.

He noted that the recruitment process evaluates not only professional competence but also character and integrity—essential foundations for building a strong, responsible organizational culture.

"Building an organization isn't just about skills, but character. Every individual joining EIGER Adventure Land embodies our values and contributes to creating meaningful experiences for communities and the environment," stated Imanuel.

Currently, over 200 EIGER Adventure Land employees originate from Megamendung, demonstrating the company's prioritization of local workers.

When EIGER Adventure Land officially opens to the public, it's projected to become a new Tourism Magnet in Puncak. Beyond offering nature and adventure tourism concepts, it will likely generate diverse job opportunities for nearby communities.

For travelers, such ecotourism concepts hold unique appeal—not only providing nature exploration experiences but also contributing to environmental sustainability and local economic development.
