7 West Java Tourist Destinations, Perfect for Weekend Getaways with Family

When the Long Holiday season arrives, tourist flows across West Java move like an unbroken tide. From South Coast Beaches up to the cool highland regions of Bandung and Bogor, millions of travellers arrive seeking a break from daily routine.

Data from the Central Statistics Agency shows West Java was one of the provinces with the highest number of domestic Indonesian Traveller trips recorded throughout last year.

A total of 211.76 million Tourist Visits were logged for this region, peaking in April during the Eid al-Fitr Holiday period which recorded 22.52 million trips.

A similar surge is expected again this year. A number of Top Destinations are forecast to be the main Draw for visitors, offering a mix of natural scenery, fresh mountain air, Family Tourism spots, and authentic Sundanese culinary experiences.

Pangandaran Beach

Along the southern coastline, Pangandaran Beach almost never misses a spot on the list of most popular tourist destinations. Both Pangandaran's east and west beach areas are always crowded with visitors, especially during Holiday seasons.
