Manchester United secured a dramatic 3-2 victory over Arsenal last weekend, but the Big Match left two contrasting stories. Potential FA sanctions for Matheus Cunha and the threat of Patrick Dorgu's long-term absence due to injury.
Cunha became the hero of the Red Devils' win with the decisive goal in the dying minutes. However, the Brazilian striker's emotional celebration has dragged his name into the disciplinary spotlight of the Football Association (FA).
According to a report by SPORT Illustrated, Cunha celebrated by dancing before approaching the live broadcast camera and uttering the profane words, "we're the f biggest". The statement was clearly audible on the live broadcast and immediately sparked widespread reaction.

Sky Sports commentator Peter Drury even issued an apology to viewers. "If you heard any profanity amongst those celebrations, for that we apologize," he said during the broadcast.
To date, the FA has not issued an official statement regarding the incident. However, under its regulations, the English football governing body considers "clear and deliberate" acts of swearing, especially when directed at a camera, as an offense that can tarnish the game's image.
While awaiting the FA's decision on Cunha, Manchester United has also been hit by more bad news. Patrick Dorgu faces around 10 weeks on the sidelines after suffering a Hamstring Injury in the match against Arsenal.
"Patrick Dorgu is expected to be sidelined for around 10 weeks after scan results confirmed he suffered a Hamstring Injury," reported The Athletic. The injury occurred when the 21-year-old chased a long pass in the second half.
This is despite Dorgu putting in an impressive performance, scoring a goal with a half-volley from outside the penalty area.
Initial hopes that he had only suffered cramp were dashed after further examinations revealed a more serious problem.
"The duration of his recovery is still being assessed, but the injury is more serious than just cramp as initially hoped."
Dorgu's absence is a significant loss for United. Under Ruben Amorim, he was often played as a wing-back, but since Michael Carrick took over as interim manager, the Danish player has been trusted to fill the left wing position and has been a consistent starter, including when he scored goals in important wins over Manchester City and Arsenal.
If confirmed to be out for 10 weeks, Dorgu would miss eight matches and only be likely to return after the March international break.
He adds to Manchester United's injury list, following Matthijs de Ligt who has been sidelined since early December, while the club also awaits the FA's decision on Cunha's fate.
