For many Indonesian Tourists, the start of the year isn't just a calendar change but also a time to plan trips to springtime countries, witnessing the bloom of Cherry Blossoms. These flowers offer both a visual and emotional experience about time, beauty, and impermanence.

Interestingly, cherry blossom viewing is no longer confined to Japan alone. Indonesian Tourists can explore other Asian destinations offering sakura landscapes with distinct characters, atmospheres, and stories.

South Korea

In South Korea, cherry blossoms emerge amid dynamic urban rhythms. In Seoul, flowers bloom at Yeouido Park, Seokchon Lake, and Namsan Park, creating a soft contrast against skyscrapers.

Meanwhile in Busan, Dalmaji Hill and Oncheoncheon Stream offer different vibes, blending sakura with sea breezes and coastal landscapes.

Regularly held spring festivals make South Korea a Favorite Destination for flower chasing.

Taiwan

Taiwan presents a quieter, more humble cherry blossom experience. At Yangmingshan National Park and Wulai, sakura blankets flourish amid mountains and cool air.

Blossom tours here often combine with other pleasures: exploring night markets, sipping traditional tea, or soaking in Hot Springs.

China

China is equally captivating. Here, sakura bloom in expansive City Parks, alongside historic architecture.

In Beijing, Yuyuantan Park, Temple of Heaven, and Summer Palace become gathering spots for locals and tourists enjoying spring against cultural and heritage backdrops.

Hong Kong

For time-pressed travelers, Hong Kong offers a brief yet memorable alternative. Sakura can be found at Kowloon Park, Hong Kong Velodrome Park, and Ngong Ping.

Here, spring flowers blend with cable car rides and mountain vistas, making it ideal for short getaways.

Japan

Despite growing options, Japan remains the irreplaceable sakura icon. Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka offer hanami experiences in city parks, riverbanks, and historic temple grounds.

Hanami picnics, spring festivals, and pink hues enveloping cities make Japan the dream destination for celebrating peak sakura bloom.

Behind these short-lived petals, sakura teach one thing: the best journeys often spring from moments remembered for a lifetime.(ANTARA)
