Jay Idzes - Tarik Muharemovic Prices Soar, Sassuolo's Bargain Duo Becomes Gold Mine in Serie A

Sassuolo has not only found a solid center-back duo but also a highly valuable Business asset. The arrival of Jay Idzes and Tarik Muharemovic, recruited at relatively low costs, has now transformed into a golden investment for the promoted Serie A club.

Italian media report that Jay Idzes and Tarik Muharemovic's presence will yield significant profits for Sassuolo.

Both players are new signings for Sassuolo this season. To acquire them, I Neroverdi management spent €11 million or Rp215.5 billion.

Now their Market Value has skyrocketed in a short time. According to Transfermarkt, Jay Idzes' value has reached €10 million while Tarik Muharemovic's has surged to €14 million. 

Their combined valuation stands at €24 million—more than double their initial transfer cost.

"With just €11 million, Sassuolo possesses a promising deadly duo. Tuttomercato even estimates their value at €40 million, quadruple the initial investment," wrote Sassuolo News.

This value surge has put Jay Idzes and Tarik Muharemovic on the radar of Italy's elite clubs. To fully capitalize on this profit, Sassuolo must sell both players, and the transfer market is heating up.

Jay Idzes has been linked to AC Milan, while Tarik Muharemovic is rumored to move to Inter Milan. 

These two giants, seeking defensive stability, view Sassuolo's duo as long-term solutions.

Both have delivered consistent performances throughout the season. As starting center-backs in Fabio Grosso's system, the Idzes-Muharemovic pairing forms Sassuolo's tactical foundation.

Despite being a promoted team, Sassuolo sits comfortably mid-table in the 2025/2026 Serie A. Occupying ninth place with 22 points, this achievement stems largely from their defensive solidity.

"He (Muharemovic) demonstrates greatness as a player with massive potential," stated Sassuolo CEO Giovanni Carnevali, quoted by Sassuolo News.

For Muharemovic, this praise reflects collective work with Jay Idzes rather than individual merit. He acknowledges their communication and chemistry as key to defensive stability.

"Since some may doubt us, but the league remains long, and I hope to achieve even more," he concluded.
