Manchester United were held to a 4-4 draw by Bournemouth in the closing match of week 16 of the 2025/26 Premier League at Old Trafford, early Tuesday morning WIB, December 16, 2025. The dramatic match featured eight goals, emotional ups and downs, and an unpleasant ending for the hosts.
This draw meant Manchester United failed to capitalize on the momentum to break into the top five of the standings. Ruben Amorim's squad remains stuck in sixth place with 26 points, while the chance to overtake Crystal Palace was delayed.
On the other hand, Bournemouth returned home with high confidence. The additional point lifted The Cherries to 13th position in the standings with 21 points.
