Heated Derby at Giuseppe Meazza: Inter-Milan Battle for Serie A Top Spot

Inter Milan is preparing for one of the hottest nights in Italian football. The Giuseppe Meazza stadium will be packed for the derby against AC Milan in the 2025/2026 Serie A continuation on Monday, November 24, 2025, early morning Western Indonesian Time. Who will win the Derby della Madonnina?

Inter has confirmed all tickets are sold out. 

"Match tickets are exhausted. The crowd will fill Meazza," stated Inter Milan on its official website, Friday, November 21, 2025. 

For Inter, this full support will provide extra motivation to maintain their position as the current league leaders.

As hosts, the Nerazzurri noted that 90% of match tickets are held by loyal supporters, including Inter Club members, registered Interisti, and season ticket holders. 

Over 75,000 supporters are predicted to pack the stadium.

The club has prepared a pre-match show, followed by special choreography in the north and south stands—a proud tradition of the ultras in the Fashion Capital.

Anticipating potential crowd impact, Inter Milan will open stadium gates three hours before kickoff. This decision ensures smoother spectator flow and maintains a conducive pre-match atmosphere.

This derby carries far greater weight than just a prestige battle. Inter leads the 2025/2026 Serie A table with 24 points from 11 matches. Meanwhile, Milan trails their rivals by just two points with 22 points, sitting in third place.

The Derby della Madonnina has been contested 244 times since their first meeting in 1909. Inter leads the head-to-head record with 91 wins. Yet these statistics don't fully reflect recent dynamics.

In their last five meetings across all competitions, Inter has failed to defeat Milan. Recent history remains raw—particularly April 2025's painful 3-0 defeat in the Coppa Italia semifinal second leg, after a 1-1 first-leg draw.
