Indonesian men's singles badminton is buzzing with activity. In the latest Badminton World Federation (BWF) rankings, several Red and White representatives recorded significant ranking jumps. Among them, Alwi Farhan and Moh. Zaki Ubaidillah are the main highlights thanks to their impressive performances in the last two tournaments.

Alwi Farhan Solidifies World No. 16 Spot

Thanks to a stellar performance reaching the quarter-finals of the Super 750 French Open, Alwi Farhan climbed one spot to world number 16.

This rise confirms the consistency of this young player, who continues to strengthen his position among the world's top men's singles.

Alwi's stable performance also shows that the regeneration of Indonesian men's singles is starting to yield positive results.

With 53,160 points, he is now the only young Indonesian player outside the world's top five who is closely chasing world badminton elites like Shi Yu Qi, Anders Antonsen, and Kunlavut Vitidsarn.

Zaki Ubaidillah, New Champion Soars 14 Spots

A major surprise came from Moh. Zaki Ubaidillah, familiarly known as Ubed, who recorded a fantastic leap of 14 spots to world number 58.

His brilliant victory at the Super 100 Indonesia Masters II tournament was the main factor behind this drastic rise.

With 27,235 points, Ubed's progress now paves the way towards upcoming top-tier tournaments.

Jojo Still in Top Five, Ginting and Chico Stable

Despite exiting in the second round of the French Open, Jonatan Christie remains Indonesia's highest-ranked men's singles player, holding steady at world number five with 81,344 points.

Jojo's stability is the main pillar for the Garuda squad in maintaining Indonesia's prestige among the world's elite.

Meanwhile, Anthony Sinisuka Ginting also recorded a sharp rise, climbing 14 spots to world number 57 after a fairly solid performance at the French Open.

On the other hand, Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo remains consistent at world number 43, being a key figure in the middle ranks of Indonesia's men's singles strength.

Bagas Shujiwo Dips Slightly, But Still Promising

Prahdiska Bagas Shujiwo experienced a slight decline, dropping three spots to world number 59 despite an impressive run as runner-up at the Indonesia Masters II. However, performance-wise, Bagas shows great potential to compete again in future tournaments.
