Kemayoran continues to solidify its position as one of the central urban Sports activity hubs in Jakarta. By hosting the Padel Tournament as part of its 41st Anniversary celebrations, the Kemayoran Complex Management Center (PPK Kemayoran) demonstrates its serious commitment to developing Sports Tourism potential within this district.
This tournament is organized by PPK Kemayoran, a Public Service Agency operating under the Ministry of State Secretariat. Beyond delivering competitive on-court matches, this event also forms part of a long-term strategy to revitalize the former Kemayoran Airport zone into a modern Sports and recreation destination.
"This tournament is not just a sporting event. It also serves as a space to strengthen camaraderie and collaborative ties, aligned with the theme we carry for this occasion: One Team, One Goal," stated Yudi Sugara, Director of Area Development for PPK Kemayoran.

Against the backdrop of rapidly growing Padel popularity across Indonesia, this tournament acts as a key milestone to establish Kemayoran as a credible Sport Tourism destination that can engage both the general public and dedicated sports communities.
A total of 28 men's teams and 20 women's teams competed in this tournament. This strong participation rate confirms that padel is gaining widespread acceptance among Urban Sports enthusiasts.
Alongside the main competition fixtures, the event programme included a professional player coaching clinic, open play sessions, and various interactive fun games designed to deliver an engaging experience for all participants and visiting spectators.
12 attendees joined the one-hour coaching clinic, which provided amateur players the opportunity to refine their technical skills and receive direct guidance from experienced professional athletes.
This Padel Tournament forms part of PPK Kemayoran's ongoing efforts to upgrade sports infrastructure and public amenities. The Kemayoran district already operates dedicated padel courts and a public Jogging track at this time.
Additionally, site management is currently conducting full revitalization works for the Kemayoran Indah Golf facility, as part of the overarching plan to develop Kemayoran into an integrated, competitive urban district with strong appeal as a premier sports and recreation destination.
