Belitung once again demonstrates its potential as a premier tourist destination through the Mangkuluhur Goes To Belitung event series, hosted by PT Intra Golflink Resorts Tbk on 20–21 June 2026. This programme integrates sports, tourism destination development, local economic empowerment, and environmental conservation into one cohesive initiative.
The series was attended by President Commissioner of PT Intra Golflink Resorts Tbk Darma Mangkuluhur Hutomo, PT Intra Golflink Resorts Tbk President Director Dwi Febri Astuti, Belitung Regent Djoni Alamsyah Hidayat, the company's board of directors, golf and footgolf communities, as well as invited guests from across multiple regions.
Activities opened with the Mangkuluhur Goes To Belitung Golf and Footgolf Tournament, held at Black Rocks Golf Belitung. This tournament served as a platform to introduce Black Rocks Golf to a wider audience, while solidifying Belitung's standing as one of the region's fast-growing sport tourism destinations.

Alongside golf matches, participants were introduced to footgolf: a hybrid sport combining elements of football and golf. The addition of footgolf expands accessible sporting activities for all demographics, while further enriching Belitung's tourism appeal.
The tournament unfolded with a competitive yet warm, friendly atmosphere. All activities including putting contests and on-course matches ran successfully with full active participation from attendees. Darma Mangkuluhur Hutomo, Dwi Febri Astuti, and Belitung Regent Djoni Alamsyah Hidayat also joined multiple activities as a public show of support for Belitung's sports tourism development.
Following the tournament, proceedings continued with a gala dinner and awarding night. This occasion recognised tournament participants while strengthening working relations between attendees, corporate partners, and tourism industry stakeholders. During the casual convivial gathering, guests also exchanged ideas for future tourism development opportunities in Belitung.
The event series then moved to Tanjung Tinggi Beach, Belitung's iconic landmark famously known as the filming location for the Laskar Pelangi feature film. At this site, officials officially inaugurated Laskar Pelangi Beach Food Plaza; a new culinary hub designed to become an additional visitor drawcard.
The inauguration was marked with a ribbon cutting ceremony and commemorative plaque signing. Laskar Pelangi Beach Food Plaza hosts approximately 70 food vendors with seating capacity for up to 900 patrons. With unobstructed ocean frontage overlooking Belitung's signature granite rock formations, this hub is expected to boost tourist visitation while driving economic activity for surrounding local communities.
This commitment to responsible tourism development was further demonstrated through coral reef transplantation and conservation work conducted in the coastal waters adjacent to the Laskar Pelangi site. This programme embodies the principle that tourism growth must always progress in parallel with environmental protection efforts.
The conservation activity began with participant safety briefings and distribution of Coral Reef Transplantation mediums. Certified divers then deployed the transplantation structures at pre-surveyed sites across Belitung's coastal waters. PT Intra Golflink Resorts Tbk Director Andy Nuryadmanto personally participated in the coral planting operation as a tangible demonstration of the company's environmental commitment.
One by one, transplantation mediums were lowered into Belitung's clear waters as part of ongoing efforts to preserve the local marine ecosystem. Through Mangkuluhur Goes to Belitung, PT Intra Golflink Resorts Tbk has proven that destination development does not only mean constructing facilities, but prioritising long term environmental sustainability and fair economic benefit for local communities.
From the golf fairways, beachfront culinary hub, down to the seabed of Belitung: every element of this entire event series carries one clear, unified message: building sustainable tourism for Belitung's future.
