Bandung - A sea of people dressed in blue flooded the entire centre of Bandung on Sunday (24/5/2026). Hundreds of thousands of Bobotoh (Persib supporters) from all across the region took to the streets to celebrate the historic achievement of Persib Bandung, who were crowned champions of the 2025/2026 Super League. This title set a new record in the modern Indonesian League era, making the Maung Bandung squad the first ever team to complete a championship hat-trick, lifting the domestic title for three full consecutive seasons.
This mass public celebration erupted just 24 hours after the final league fixture at Gelora Bandung Lautan Api (GBLA) Stadium on Saturday (23/5/2026). The squad managed by head coach Bojan Hodak sealed the title after grinding out a hard fought 0-0 Draw against Persijap Jepara. That single decisive point lifted Persib to the top of the final League Table on 79 points. Despite finishing level on points with nearest challengers Borneo FC, Persib retained their crown due to a superior head-to-head record.
The electric atmosphere of victory spilled out from the stadium stands and swept through the heart of the Flower City. From early morning, crowds staged a grand parade starting from the Gedung Sate complex that wound along every major city thoroughfare. Gridlock and unbridled euphoria covered Jalan Riau, Merdeka, Lembong, Veteran, the Asia Afrika district, Bandung Central Square, Braga, Pasupati Flyover, before the procession finally concluded at the Bandung City Pendopo. The celebrations were alive with roaring chants of "Champions again, Persib Bandung", giant waving flags, and bright glowing flare smoke.

The overwhelming turnout caused complete traffic gridlock across the city centre. Ramdhan, one Bobotoh who travelled overnight specifically to join the parade, could not contain his pride. "Persib are Champions, this has to be celebrated. Winning three straight titles is something unbelievable for every single Bobotoh," he stated amid the chaos of the crowd. He also laid out clear hopes for the team: "Hopefully next year Persib can shine at Asian level competition. Persib must become a dragon in Asia," he added with raw passion.
To maintain safety and order during this large scale event, joint personnel from the Indonesian National Police, Armed Forces, Public Order Agency and Transportation Authority were deployed to all critical locations. Officers stood on duty to manage traffic flows and escort the masses of supporters, to ensure this historic three-peat celebration concluded peacefully. This championship hat-trick confirms one undeniable truth: this trophy is not just silverware. It is the very heart and collective pride of every Bobotoh, wherever they may be.
