Manchester City once again demonstrated their champion mentality in the Premier League title race this season. A narrow 1-0 victory over Burnley at Turf Moor, early Thursday morning WIB, was enough to propel The Citizens to the top of the standings, displacing Arsenal.
With the additional three points from Burnley's home ground, City now have 70 points from 33 matches.
That tally is level with Arsenal, but Pep Guardiola's side boasts a superior goal difference, earning them the right to take over the top spot.

Erling Haaland was the decisive figure for City's win with an early goal in the 5th minute, capitalizing on Jeremy Doku's pass.
The Norwegian striker once again proved his sharpness in crucial moments when the team needed maximum results.
The early goal put Burnley under pressure right from the start of the match.
Before conceding, Burnley had threatened through a shot by Jaidon Anthony. However, Gianluigi Donnarumma under the City bar was able to thwart that opportunity.
After taking the lead, City dominated play and sought to extend their advantage. A chance came from Rayan Cherki, but Burnley's defensive line managed to block it.
Meanwhile, Nico O'Reilly's chance was saved by Burnley goalkeeper Martin Dubravka.
Entering the second half, City's pressure didn't relent. Antoine Semenyo had an opportunity, but his finish was still off target.
Haaland almost scored a second goal, but his powerful shot hit the post and failed to change the scoreboard.
Despite winning by just a single goal, this result was enough to take Manchester City to the top of the standings. The competition with Arsenal is now heating up as the season enters its final weeks.
On the other hand, this defeat was a crushing blow for Burnley. The result confirmed their relegation to the Championship after being stuck in 19th position with 20 points from 34 matches.
Burnley are 13 points adrift from the safety zone with only four matches remaining. While Manchester City successfully sent a clear message to Arsenal, they are ready to defend their Premier League crown this season.
