Danger alarms are sounding for Real Madrid in the hunt for the 2025/26 La Liga title. With a Draw Result 1-1 against Girona at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, Saturday, April 11th early morning WIB, Los Blancos only gained one point at home.
Madrid had been in the driver's seat after Federico Valverde's goal, before Thomas Lemar equalized. This result feels bitter because Madrid still trails Barcelona by six points at the top of the Standings.
This gap could potentially widen as Blaugrana has yet to play their match against Espanyol at Camp Nou.

More worryingly, this result extends Madrid's negative trend of failing to return to winning ways after defeats to Mallorca in La Liga and Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
In the crucial phase of the season, this inconsistency is a real danger signal for their title ambitions.
From the start, Madrid appeared dominant and pressed. Yet it was Girona who almost stole the lead first in the 14th minute through Azzedine Ounahi, but Goalkeeper Andriy Lunin denied him.
A quick response came from the hosts via a Vinicius Junior chance and a long-range attempt by Valverde, but the score remained 0-0 until halftime.
The deadlock was finally broken in the 51st minute. Valverde scored a spectacular goal from outside the penalty box after receiving a pass from Brahim Diaz. Madrid led 1-0.
However, that lead lasted only 11 minutes. Girona equalized through a powerful strike by Lemar from outside the penalty box after receiving a pass from Arnau Martinez.
Lemar's goal silenced the Bernabeu and highlighted Madrid's fragile defense in crucial moments.
For the remainder of the match, Madrid continued to bombard. Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior threatened repeatedly, but ineffective finishing saw chance after chance go begging.
Controversy arose in the final minute when Mbappe was brought down by Hugo Rincon in the penalty area. But after a VAR review, the referee decided not to award a penalty, a decision that further frustrated the home side.
The final whistle confirmed the 1-1 scoreline remained. The pressure now intensifies for the rest of the season if Madrid wants to keep their La Liga title hopes alive.
