Rider Marco Bezzecchi from Aprilia Racing continued his impressive performance at the start of the 2026 MotoGP season by securing victory at the Brazilian round held at the Ayrton Senna Circuit on Monday, March 23, 2026, early morning Western Indonesian Time.

Bezzecchi completed the race with a time of 30 minutes 19.760 seconds. This result extended his positive trend after also winning the opening round in Thailand, as reported by the official MotoGP website.

Second place was taken by Jorge Martin from Prima Pramac Racing, who finished with a gap of 3.231 seconds. Meanwhile, Fabio Di Giannantonio from the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team secured third place with a gap of 3.780 seconds.

Defending champion Marc Marquez from the Ducati Lenovo Team had to settle for fourth place. He had a chance at a podium finish before making a mistake on the final lap while battling Di Giannantonio.

From the start of the race, Bezzecchi immediately showed his dominance. Starting from pole position, he maintained the lead after the first corner, followed by Di Giannantonio and Marc Marquez. Pedro Acosta displayed aggressive riding, jumping from ninth place to fifth.

On the second lap, Marquez moved up to second place, followed by Acosta who managed to overtake Martin. However, Bezzecchi remained comfortable in the lead and gradually extended his gap.

Entering the sixth lap, the competition heated up after Di Giannantonio made an aggressive move on Marquez. The incident caused both riders to run wide, allowing Martin to move up to second place.

A tight battle also occurred in the mid-pack. Alex Marquez briefly held fifth place before coming under pressure from Ai Ogura.

At the front, Bezzecchi remained consistent. Martin managed to close the gap slightly but couldn't mount a serious challenge.

A fierce duel for third place between Marquez and Di Giannantonio continued until the final laps. Marquez briefly took the position but lost it again due to a corner error.

Bezzecchi ultimately secured the victory and simultaneously strengthened his position at the top of the riders' Standings. This success also propelled Aprilia to the lead in the constructors' championship, while Martin secured important additional points with his second-place finish.

The Brazilian race was also marked by several incidents. Jack Miller from Prima Pramac Yamaha MotoGP had to end his race early after crashing at the first corner.

A few laps later, Brad Binder from Red Bull KTM Factory Racing also crashed. Similar incidents then befell Joan Mir from Honda HRC Castrol and Francesco Bagnaia on lap 10.
