Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has shut down talk of his team possibly sweeping all titles this season. While some observers discuss the chance of winning four trophies simultaneously, The Gunners' boss insists his team's focus is on winning match by match.
Arsenal will face Bayer Leverkusen in the first leg of the Round of 16 of the Champions League at the BayArena on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 (late night WIB). This match is Arteta's top priority amidst growing expectations for The Gunners' performance this season.
Instead of contemplating the scenario of winning four trophies, Arteta stressed that the "quadruple" is not part of the conversation in the Arsenal dressing room.

"No, I'm not using that phrase. I don't know why they're talking about it when I'm not thinking about it," said Arteta on Arsenal's website.
Mathematically, Arsenal have a chance to sweep four trophies. The North London club is still competing in the Premier League, FA Cup, Carabao Cup, and Champions League.
However, for Arteta, the best approach is to break down the big target into a match-by-match focus. He believes Arsenal simply need to ensure they perform to their maximum every time they step onto the pitch.
Specifically in the Champions League, Arteta feels his squad has gained valuable experience from last season's journey.
Arsenal went as far as the semifinals before being stopped by Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
That experience, Arteta said, helps his team understand that small details often determine outcomes on the big stage. The right tactical approach and efficiency in taking chances are key to progressing further.
"Every match and every moment will be very specific and therefore very difficult to replicate," he concluded.
Now Arsenal's attention is fully fixed on the BayArena. If they can bring home a positive result from Germany, their path towards the Champions League Quarter-Finals will open up further, without needing to discuss the big "quadruple" dream.
