PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia (InJourney Airports) Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (Soetta) Branch Office in Tangerang, Banten, confirmed cancellations and delays of several flights to the Middle East region. This occurred due to airspace closures in several countries in that area.

Several affected flights include Etihad Airways (EY472) to Abu Dhabi, Qatar Airways (QR954) to Doha, Qatar Airways (QR957) to Doha, Emirates (EK357) to Dubai, Etihad Airways (EY475) to Abu Dhabi, Garuda Indonesia (GA900) to Doha, and Etihad Airways (EY473) to Abu Dhabi.

"For arriving flights, Etihad Airways EY 472 from Abu Dhabi to Jakarta and Qatar Airways QR 954 from Doha to Jakarta are confirmed canceled," the statement clarified.

For travelers already in the terminal, the airport ensures handling follows procedures—from canceling Travel documents at immigration areas to coordinating with airlines for accommodation arrangements and rescheduling.

"Overall, the terminal situation remains safe and conducive," they stated.

While some Middle Eastern routes are impacted, other international flight operations at Soekarno-Hatta Airport continue normally. Airport management also guarantees departure and arrival services remain optimal.

"Intensive coordination is continuously conducted with Airlines, airport authorities, and related agencies to anticipate operational dynamics and ensure safety, security, and service standards are maintained," they explained.

If you have upcoming itineraries to Abu Dhabi, Doha, or Dubai, it's crucial to regularly check flight statuses through official Airline channels or respective customer service.

"In line with this, we conduct periodic monitoring of operational developments across all terminals, especially international flights, to ensure prompt and precise responses to potential disruptions," the spokesperson said.

This situation serves as an important reminder that global dynamics can affect travel plans. Always update your information before flying to ensure a safe and comfortable journey.
