Still remember Florent Sinama-Pongolle? The former Liverpool striker who rattled Olympiacos' net during The Reds' legendary journey to win the Champions League 2004/05 now has a new pursuit. This time, however, he's no longer dealing with the roar of thousands at Anfield, but with the tranquility and precision of the Golf Course.

Sinama-Pongolle has officially switched careers to become a professional in Footgolf, a hybrid sport combining Football techniques with golf rules.

Though relatively new to this "Foot Golf Ball" world, the former French National Team player immediately showcased his prowess. Representing HAC Footgolf - a club based in Le Havre (where he once played on loan) - Sinama-Pongolle proved his goal-scoring instinct remains sharp.

Through a post on his personal Instagram, the player who made 65 appearances and scored 9 goals for Liverpool displayed his captivating skills at Golf de Saint Donat, Cannes. One particularly attention-grabbing clip featured an exceptionally precise long-range putt, drawing praise from fans.

According to FootGolf France (the sport's national governing body), Sinama-Pongolle currently ranks 31st nationally - an impressive achievement for someone who recently swapped metal-studded football boots for soft-spiked Golf Shoes.

Champions League Reunion on the Green

Interestingly, Sinama-Pongolle isn't alone in this "second career." He's reunited with his fellow Liverpool Champions League winner Anthony Le Tallec.

This Merseyside duo now both play for HAC Footgolf, creating a uniquely nostalgic sight for Liverpudlians. Where once they battled shoulder-to-shoulder against Premier League defenses, they now strategize to conquer Golf Course contours.
