Marquez himself has only recently fully recovered from the shoulder Injury he sustained in a crash at the MotoGP Indonesia last October. Now, the rider nicknamed the Baby Alien is focused on preparations with Ducati Lenovo for the upcoming 2026 season.
Despite enjoying a positive phase with Ducati, rumors about Marquez's future have surfaced. The number 93 rider is reportedly potentially leaving the Italian factory team, especially with the arrival of new technical regulations set to take effect from the 2027 season.
The 2026 season will be Marc Marquez's second season with Ducati Lenovo, and also his third season riding the Desmosedici GP. Previously, he first rode for the Ducati satellite team, Gresini Racing, for two seasons.
In the near future, Marquez is scheduled to participate in the MotoGP preseason test session at the Sepang Circuit, Malaysia, on February 3rd-5th.
