Flight Route from Jakarta (Soekarno-Hatta) to Singapore (Changi) ranks among the world's top 10 busiest routes for 2025. Above Southeast Asia's skies, this short corridor transforms into one of the most vital pathways for tourists, Business travelers, and cross-border citizens.

Meanwhile, the Kuala Lumpur to Singapore route became the world's third busiest international Flight Route last year, confirming Asia's dominance in global air traffic.

The Kuala Lumpur to Singapore route fiercely competes with other popular routes like Dubai-Riyadh, Bangkok-Hong Kong, Tokyo Narita-Taipei, and the transatlantic New York JFK-London Heathrow.

This achievement positions Southeast Asia alongside global mobility hubs.

As reported by VN Express, based on data from UK-based aviation analytics firm OAG, this route recorded 5.6 million seats - a 4% increase from the previous year.

Beyond its massive volume, this route also set a record for the world's lowest average economy class fare among the top 10 busiest routes at just USD$62 (approximately Rp960,000) one-way.

"Seven different Airlines operate this route, reflecting intense competition," stated OAG's report.

With a flight time of only one hour, this air link between two major economic centers and Tourist Destinations in Southeast Asia remains a favorite for short trips.

However, Kuala Lumpur-Singapore trails behind Hong Kong-Taipei (world's busiest international route with 6.8 million seats).

Second place belongs to Cairo-Jeddah, driven by strong religious and Business Travel in the Middle East.

Seoul Incheon to Tokyo Narita Flight Route ranks fourth, followed by Seoul Incheon to Osaka Kansai in fifth.

Asia's high-ranking routes demonstrate the region's aviation industry recovery and growth, fueled by connectivity between Business hubs.

Additionally, short-haul route dominance in Southeast Asia highlights high mobility between neighboring countries.
