Amid the morning silence of North Bali, Lovina Beach holds one of nature's most captivating experiences. The appearance of dolphin pods has long attracted both domestic and international tourists. But to observe these intelligent mammals up close, several important tips must be prepared.

According to Sales Manager of The Lovina Bali, Yetty Meoko, tourists can spot dolphins during optimal hours between 6:00-8:00 AM Central Indonesia Time (WITA), using traditional fishing boats supported by two long outriggers.

"Visitors can see dolphins in the morning around 6:00 to 8:00 AM WITA," she told Antara.

Tour participation costs IDR 150,000 (adults) and IDR 75,000 (children), excluding tax.

This price includes the boat, life jackets, and approximately 1.5 hours of dolphin watching.

Some tourists even choose to sit dangling from the boat's edge to swim in the ocean when fortunate enough to encounter a dolphin pod.

Yetty recommends wearing comfortable shirts, swimwear, and waterproof sandals. Besides wave splashes, visitors must also step onto slippery shorelines when boarding.

For those bringing children, ensure physical fitness as North Bali's air tends to be cooler than southern Bali. Sunscreen is essential.

"Apply sunscreen to protect your skin from sun exposure while at sea," she advised.

The earlier tourists depart, the better their chances of enjoying sunrise panoramas with light reflecting on the ocean surface.

The blend of green hills encircling Lovina with clear skies creates a dramatic atmosphere resembling living art.

However, patience remains key. Dolphins appear quickly only near shorelines, with varying numbers daily.

These creatures travel in pods, so luck determines whether visitors see few, many, or even witness their acrobatic leaps above water.

Yetty recounted extraordinary moments, having once observed exceptionally large dolphin gatherings.

Tourists must maintain ethical conduct while observing wildlife.

"Visitors shouldn't feed dolphins to preserve their natural foraging independence," Yetty clarified.

Boats near dolphin pods must move slowly without loud engine noise to prevent animal stress. Ocean cleanliness is crucial since dolphins thrive in pristine environments.

The journey to Lovina Beach from Denpasar takes approximately three hours by road.

For post-travel rest, coastal accommodations like The Lovina Bali are available.

Beyond dolphin tours, visitors can try coral viewing and fishing, making Lovina North Bali's complete nature tourism package.
