Drama from Lap One at Tropical Mandalika Circuit
The race under Lombok's sun was immediately marred by an incident in the first sector. Marc Marquez, mid-corner, was thrown into the gravel after contact with Marco Bezzecchi, forcing both riders out early.
Before completing two laps, Joan Mir lost control and retired prematurely.
At the front, Pedro Acosta led under intense pressure from Luca Marini and Fermin Aldeguer. By lap five, Aldeguer began showing his teeth. He overtook Acosta and seized the lead entering lap seven – a bold move that completely shifted the race's momentum.
Meanwhile, Pecco Bagnaia crashed out after losing control at turn 17, adding another elite rider to the list unable to conquer Mandalika's demanding track.
Tension Until the Final Lap
Aldeguer maintained his lead with consistent speed and mature strategy. Behind him, Acosta and Alex Rins battled fiercely for second place.
Lap after lap unfolded under high tension. Rins briefly overtook Acosta on lap 19 but lost momentum on lap 23, allowing Alex Marquez to reclaim the position.
Drama peaked on the final lap. Acosta re-passed Alex Marquez to secure second place, while Fermin Aldeguer raced unchallenged across the finish line to claim an undisputed victory.
For Marc Marquez, Mandalika remains a "jinxed circuit." The six-time world champion failed to finish here for the fourth consecutive season after crashing on the opening lap.
