Persib Bandung secured another victory in the Super League. Hosting Dewa United at Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium on Friday, November 21, 2025, Maung Bandung won with a final score of 1-0. The decisive winning goal for Persib was scored by Andrew Jung from the penalty spot.
This result lifted Persib to third place in the standings with 22 points, while Dewa United remained stuck in 14th place with 10 points.
Although Persib secured all three points, the match was far from easy. Dewa United played aggressively from the start and threatened Teja Paku Alam's goal several times.

Persib's defense was forced to work hard to thwart attacks from Dewa United, spearheaded by Alexis Messidoro and Taisei Marukawa.
Despite being under pressure, Persib actually had their first golden opportunity in the 19th minute. A precise pass from Thom Haye found Uilliam Barros in the penalty area, but the Dewa United defense reacted quickly to clear the ball, resulting only in a corner kick.
In the 30th minute, Persib tested Dewa United goalkeeper Sonny Stevens again when a free kick by Saddil Ramdani forced the keeper into a brilliant save.
Persib's Pressure Increased in the Second Half
Entering the second half, Persib appeared much more dominant, launching wave after wave of attacks into Dewa United's defensive area.
The pressure culminated in the 61st minute when Uilliam Barros was brought down by Nick Kuippers inside the penalty area.
The referee consulted VAR before pointing to the penalty spot. Andrew Jung stepped up as the executor and performed his duty perfectly. Persib led 1-0.
This goal sparked a response from Dewa United, who increased the intensity of their attacks, but Persib's defensive wall remained solid.
Persib Played with 10 Players
Drama unfolded in the 87th minute when Persib were reduced to 10 players. Beckham Putra received his second yellow card after fouling Taisei Marukawa.
Despite having a numerical advantage for the remainder of the match, Dewa United was unable to score. The 1-0 scoreline held until the final whistle.
