Transjakarta Extends Operating Hours for the Blok M-Ancol Route, Travelers Can Return Home Later

Enjoying late-night concerts in Jakarta now comes with a more convenient option for the journey home. For travellers using public transport, Transjakarta is extending operating hours for Route 1W Blok M–Ancol through the early morning.

This adjustment will be in effect 7–9 August 2026, timed to coincide with the series of concerts and entertainment events taking place across the Ancol area during this period.

Throughout these dates, Route 1W buses will remain in service until 02.00 WIB. This extended window gives attendees extra time after the conclusion of evening events before travelling back to Blok M and surrounding areas.

Ayu Wardhani, Head of Public Relations and CSR Department at PT Transportasi Jakarta, stated that this service extension was implemented to ensure members of the public still have transport options after attending activities in Ancol.

No Need To Use Private Vehicles For Post-Concert Travel From Ancol
