Rizky Ridho addressed Patrick Kluivert's dismissal from his position as head coach of the Indonesian National Team with a firm statement, "We all failed together." The captain emphasized that the failure to reach the 2026 World Cup is the collective responsibility of all players, not solely the coach's fault. This statement followed the PSSI's decision to terminate Kluivert's contract early via mutual termination, ending the Dutch coach's tenure which had not yet reached two full years.
Amid this disappointment, Ridho stressed the importance of a comprehensive evaluation to rebuild the team. While acknowledging Kluivert was a quality coach who brought modern tactical vision, the on-field results did not meet expectations. This situation once again highlights the chronic issue of instability, where the National Team has changed coaches more than three times in the last four years. The biggest challenge ahead is finding a new coach who can unify the vision, leverage lessons from the Kluivert era, and reignite the spirit of the Garuda.
