Indonesian National Team Defender, Rizky Ridho revealed How the Garuda Squad is undergoing high-intensity training under coach John Herdman's direction ahead of FIFA Series 2026. Indonesian National Team will face Saint Kitts & Nevis on Friday, March 27, 2026.
During training at Madya Stadium Gelora Bung Karno, the coaching staff's primary focus is restoring players' physical condition to optimal levels.
"Training intensity is high since players just returned after two days off for Eid al-Fitr. But earlier, both the National Team Coaches and Persija's coach provided physical programs, so our fitness didn't drop drastically during the break," stated Ridho after Tuesday afternoon's session.

This physical training forms the initial foundation before tactical aspects are introduced.
"This is our second session with Coach Herdman. It's progressing smoothly—we're gradually understanding and adapting to his methods to implement them in the upcoming match," he said.
Ridho described Herdman as a highly detail-oriented strategist. Modern approaches are being implemented during training, including visual aids to help players grasp gameplay schemes.
"The coach brings a television-like device to the field, showing players clips before practice. These visuals make tactical instructions much more detailed," Ridho explained.
For this Persija Jakarta mainstay, the method is novel but aligns with standard practices in European Football for rapid tactical comprehension.
Amid intensive preparations, Ridho urged national team supporters to continue backing the Garuda Squad.
"We ask for prayers and support from everyone. Regardless of the coach, we'll fight relentlessly for this nation—please stand behind us," he concluded.
Combining high-intensity drills with modern tactical approaches, Indonesia's national team prepares for its first challenge at FIFA Series 2026.
