Not only did they secure victory, Lille also brought good news for Indonesian fans. Calvin Verdonk regained playing time for Lille! The Indonesian national team wing-back came on in the 82nd minute to replace Romain Perraud.

He helped his team secure a 2-0 win over Nantes at La Beaujoire Stadium, Nantes, early Monday morning WIB, 20/10/2025.

Despite only eight minutes, Calvin Verdonk's presence at left wing-back contributed to Lille's clean sheet in Ligue 1.

Thanks to the 2-0 victory over Nantes through goals from Hakon Haraldsson (8th minute) and Hamza Igamane (89th minute), Lille now sits sixth in the Ligue 1 standings with 14 points. Conversely, Nantes dropped to 15th place.

Verdonk's debut with French football club Lille occurred on Sunday (21/9/2025) when Lille faced Lens at Bollaert-Delelis Stadium, Lille.

Toulouse Wins

Toulouse also secured victory by defeating Metz 4-0 at Stadium de Toulouse, Toulouse.

The match changed drastically when Sadibou Sané received a red card late in the first half, forcing Metz to play with 10 players.

Capitalizing on the numerical advantage, Toulouse dismantled Metz's defense with goals from Frank Magri, Aron Donnum, Yann Gboho, and Charlie Cresswell.

This win propelled Toulouse to 8th place (13 points), while Metz remains rooted at the bottom (2 points).

Toulouse created 16 chances with 7 shots on target despite having only 35% possession. Metz's 65% ball possession couldn't be converted into victory.
