Canada failed to capitalize on their home advantage to claim victory in their opening match of 2026 World Cup Group B. Playing at BMO Field, Toronto during the early hours of Saturday WIB, Jesse Marsch's squad had to settle for a single point after being held to a 1-1 Draw by Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Bosnia-Herzegovina shocked the home Canada supporters with a goal from Jovo Lukic, before Cyle Larin equalised in the second half to force a Draw Result.
One point from this fixture puts Canada at the top of the provisional Standings for Group B, with Bosnia-Herzegovina following in second place on an identical points tally.
