Bogor - "This is a clash of two completely distinct playing styles; Arsenal, who operate pragmatically with rock-solid defence, will face PSG who play with an open system and devastating wide attacks." This sharp observation was delivered by veteran Football analyst Ronny Pangemanan on the latest episode of Podcast Itsme.
Hosted live from their Sentul, Bogor studio by presenters Gilang Respaty and Yatna, the discussion grew heated as the panel broke down this season's Champions League Final fixture between Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
After 22 long years of waiting, Mikel Arteta's Arsenal side have finally reclaimed the Premier League trophy. Notably, it was not the philosophy of endless attractive flowing football that carried them to the title, but a far more pragmatic approach.

Analyst Erwin Fitriansyah highlighted that The Gunners now prioritise efficiency above all to secure results. "Winning 1-0 is more than enough. Their defence has been exceptional this season, they conceded the fewest goals across the league, and they are extremely lethal from set pieces," stated Erwin. David Raya's outstanding clean sheet record, paired with the impenetrable centre-back partnership of Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes, forms the core foundation of Arteta's tactics.
On the opposing side, PSG arrive at the Puskas Arena carrying the reputation as giant killers of European football. Luis Enrique's squad marched into the final in terrifying fashion, after sweeping aside Bayern Munich, Liverpool, and Chelsea.
Erwin specifically emphasised the firepower of Les Parisiens' forward line, spearheaded by Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Ousmane Dembele. "PSG have proven they can break down even the most well-drilled defences. Kvaratskhelia is an incredibly dangerous creative playmaker operating from the wide flanks," he explained.
This final match, scheduled for 30 May 2026, will be the ultimate test. Will the London defensive wall be able to contain the explosive threat of PSG, who have systematically dismantled every English club they faced this season?
Erwin leans slightly in favour of PSG, citing the individual attacking quality of their forwards that cannot be fully neutralised for 90 minutes. Meanwhile, Ronny 'Bung Ropan' Pangemanan backs Arsenal instead, expressing confidence that their rigid tactical discipline will defy expectations and guide the North London side to write new European football history.
