PBVSI Calls Up 17 Top Women's Volleyball Players for Three International Tournaments

Jakarta  – The Central Board of the All Indonesia Volleyball Association (PP PBVSI) has officially called up 17 volleyball players to strengthen the women's national team for a series of packed international championships in mid-2026.

This move prepares the Red and White squad for three prestigious events:

Blend of Senior Players and New Faces
Deputy Head of Development and Achievement, Loudry Maspaitella, stated the called-up squad comprises top talents from various regions. Star players like Megawati Hangestri Pertiwi return to lead the offense, alongside experienced players like Medi Yoku and Tisya Amalia.

• AVC Nation’s Cup for Women in the Philippines (June 6-9).
• 6th SEA V League for Women in Vietnam (July 31-August 2) and Thailand (August 7-9).
• AVC Continental Cup for Women in Tianjin, China (August 21-30).

Notably, PBVSI also gave opportunities to newcomers. Shindy Sasgia Dwi Yuniar, a Central Java middle blocker who led Jakarta Pertamina Enduro to win the Proliga 2026, received her first senior national team call-up.

Training Camp Schedule
All selected players must immediately assemble for centralized training at the Jenderal Kunarto Volleyball Training Center, Sentul.

"All called players must report to the location by May 4, 2026, at the latest," Loudry emphasized in an official statement received by ANTARA.

Libero: Indah Guretno Margiani, Fajriahni Ema Herawati.
