"I dare not disclose the opponent until there's an email or written agreement," Erick Thohir stated to reporters at GBK Arena, Jakarta, on Thursday.

"If there were three emails, only one has been responded to. When we get a response, it only means they confirm availability for certain dates, but the agreement hasn't been finalized," explained Erick.

Additional insight came from National Team Board (BTN) Chairman Sumardji, who earlier mentioned one potential opponent is from the Asian region. 

Nevertheless, he emphasized the process is ongoing and hasn't reached the final stage.
