Bayern Munich and Arsenal secured their spots in the 2025/2026 Champions League semi-finals. During the Quarter Finals, Bayern eliminated Real Madrid in a dramatic high-scoring duel, while Arsenal advanced despite a goalless draw against Sporting CP.
Bayern's 4-3 victory over Madrid in the second leg at Allianz Arena early Thursday morning WIB sealed a 6-4 aggregate win for the German giants.
Madrid stunned the home crowd when Arda Guler scored an opening-minute goal after capitalizing on a mistake by Munich's Goalkeeper Manuel Neuer.

Bayern responded swiftly, with Aleksandar Pavlovic equalizing via a header from Joshua Kimmich's sixth-minute corner.
Madrid regained the lead in the 29th minute through Guler's second goal, this time from a precise set-piece execution. The match intensity surged as both teams pressed relentlessly.
Bayern leveled again soon after. Harry Kane struck in the 38th minute, converting a well-timed pass from Dayot Upamecano.
Just before halftime, Kylian Mbappé put Madrid ahead once more. His 42nd-minute goal not only made it 3-2 but also set a record as the first player to score 10 away goals in a single Champions League season.
The second half remained fiercely contested until momentum shifted with Eduardo Camavinga's 86th-minute red card.
Bayern capitalized on their numerical advantage. Luis Diaz ignited home celebrations with an 89th-minute equalizer.
Drama peaked in stoppage time when Michael Olise netted the winner in the 90+4th minute, sealing Bayern's comeback and ending Madrid's challenge.
Bayern progress to face Paris Saint-Germain for a place in the final.
Arsenal Advance Despite Stalemate
Meanwhile in England, Arsenal confirmed their semi-final berth after a goalless draw against Sporting CP at Emirates Stadium. The result sufficed due to their 1-0 first-leg victory.
Arsenal attacked aggressively from kickoff. Gabriel Martinelli created an early chance but couldn't breach the visitors' compact defense.
Sporting threatened too, including a Luis Suarez opportunity that sailed over. Neither side scored before halftime.
The second half saw more openings. Leandro Trossard's header struck the post for Arsenal, while efforts from Eberechi Eze and Noni Madueke also failed to produce goals.
Resolute defending from both teams maintained the 0-0 scoreline. Arsenal now advance to face Atletico Madrid, who eliminated Barcelona earlier.
