While the spotlight was on the impossible missions of Manchester City and Chelsea, Champions League magic unfolded in Portugal. In Lisbon, Sporting CP wrote one of the season's most dramatic comebacks.
Four teams secured their place in the Champions League quarter-finals after completing the second legs of the Round of 16 on Wednesday, March 18th early morning WIB.
Amid the dominance of elite teams like Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, and Arsenal, a heroic tale emerged from Portugal, where Sporting flipped the script in an almost impossible fashion.

Sporting CP successfully turned the tide with a 5-0 victory over Bodo/Glimt.
Having trailed 0-3 on aggregate, Sporting scored three goals to force extra time.
Goals from Maxi Araujo and Rafael Nel secured a 5-3 aggregate win and halted the progress of the Norwegian dark horses.
On the same night, traditional powerhouses still showed their class.
Real Madrid progressed smoothly after defeating Manchester City 2-1 at the Etihad Stadium. Leading 3-0 from the first leg, the situation became even more favorable for Los Blancos after Bernardo Silva received a red card. Madrid ultimately sealed the tie with a 5-1 aggregate victory.
PSG also delivered a powerful performance, crushing Chelsea 3-0 at Stamford Bridge. Two quick goals early in the match dashed the home side's hopes immediately. The defending champions advanced with a resounding 8-2 aggregate.
Meanwhile, Arsenal showed their consistency. After a 1-1 draw in the first leg, The Gunners secured qualification with a 3-1 aggregate thanks to a 2-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen at the Emirates Stadium, via goals from Eberechi Eze and Declan Rice.
Yet, among all these results, Sporting's story reaffirms that the Champions League always has room for surprises.
Four more second-leg matches remain, scheduled for Thursday, March 19th early morning WIB, including the heated clashes Barcelona vs Newcastle United and Liverpool vs Galatasaray.
