Cesc Fabregas' name has emerged as one of the candidates to replace Pep Guardiola at Manchester City, amid uncertainty over the future of the manager who has led the club to its most successful era in history.
Guardiola has delivered numerous prestigious trophies for The Citizens, including the Champions League and multiple domestic titles. Most recently, he guided City to win the English League Cup by defeating Arsenal in the final.
Currently, City remains in contention for the Premier League and FA Cup after being eliminated from the Champions League.

Cited from Tuttomercatoweb, Fabregas is reportedly on City management's radar as part of the club's long-term planning.
“Fabregas is on the list of candidates to succeed Guardiola at Manchester City,” stated the report.
Although no official statement has been made, the emergence of Fabregas' name signals that City is beginning to prepare for succession scenarios.
Fabregas is a former protege of Guardiola who is currently building an impressive coaching career with Como 1907 in Italy's Serie A. This season, Como is competing for a European Qualification spot.
As a young coach, Fabregas is considered to possess strong credentials, mature tactical understanding, and experience playing at the highest level.
Furthermore, Fabregas' playing philosophy aligns with Guardiola's emphasis on ball possession and quick distribution.
However, he is not the only name on the list. Former Real Madrid coach Xabi Alonso and ex-Chelsea Manager Enzo Maresca are also under consideration.
Both are also known for having playing approaches similar to Guardiola and a track record in developing young players.
With several potential candidates, Manchester City appears to be seeking not just a replacement, but a figure capable of maintaining the club's playing identity while continuing its dominance at domestic and European levels.
