Official Schedule of AFC Asian Cup 2027 Officially Announced

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) officially released the complete schedule and match agenda for the final round of the 2027 Asian Cup through its official website on Monday, March 2, 2026.
The 19th edition of the tournament will be held in Saudi Arabia from January 7 to February 5, 2027. Three cities have been confirmed as hosts—Riyadh, Jeddah, and Al Khobar—utilizing a total of eight stadiums throughout the competition.
The opening match and final will take place at King Fahd Sports City in Riyadh. This 72,000-seat stadium is also scheduled to host four group stage matches, one Round of 16 match on January 24, and one Quarterfinal on January 29.

Also in Riyadh, King Saud University Stadium (capacity 26,000) will host five group stage matches and one Round of 16 match on January 25. Kingdom Arena is slated to hold four group stage matches, one Round of 16 match on January 22, and one Quarterfinal on January 28.
Another venue in the capital, Imam Mohammed Ibn Saud University Stadium (25,000 capacity), will host five group stage matches and one Round of 16 match on January 23. Al Shabab Stadium (13,000 capacity) will stage four group stage matches and one Round of 16 match on January 22.
In Jeddah, King Abdullah Sports City (60,000 capacity) will hold five group stage matches, one Round of 16 match on January 25, one Quarterfinal on January 28, and a Semifinal on February 2. Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Sports City (26,000 capacity) is scheduled to host four group stage matches and one Round of 16 match on January 24.
A new 45,000-seat stadium in Al Khobar will be used for all competition phases except the final. It will host four group stage matches, one Round of 16 match on January 23, one Quarterfinal on January 29, and the first Semifinal on February 1.
AFC stated match pairings and kick-off times will be determined after the final round Draw scheduled for April 11, 2026. The final four tickets to the tournament will be confirmed following the last qualifying round matches on March 31, 2026.
Notably, this edition marks the first time AFC will implement the Team Base Camp (TBC) concept. Under this scheme, each participating team will receive dedicated hotel accommodations and training facilities throughout the tournament, including additional logistical support when moving between host cities.
With thorough preparations and modern infrastructure, the 2027 Asian Cup is projected to become one of the most spectacular editions in Asian Football history.
