Bali never truly quiets down from celebrations. But in 2026, its pulse is designed to be more structured. The Bali Provincial Government has officially launched the Calendar of Event (CoE) or 2026 Activity Calendar.
This annual map contains 56 agendas to keep tourism vibrant throughout all seasons.
Head of the Bali Provincial Tourism Office (Dispar) I Wayan Sumaraja stated the number of activities this year has increased compared to 2025's 54 official agendas.

"The regional activities listed in this year's Bali CoE total 56, consisting of 40 cultural events, seven sporting events, two MICE events, one fashion event, four music festivals, and two culinary festivals," he said in Denpasar.
This figure reflects the effort to spread tourism energy across the entire island, from traditional dance stages to Sports tracks and culinary festival tables.
A Calendar for Sustainable Tourism
According to Sumaraja, the 2026 Activity Calendar is not just an event list, but an instrument for planned and sustainable tourism development.
"Every tourism activity does not operate in isolation; instead, they mutually support One Direction of sustainable Balinese Tourism development," he stated.
Its compilation involved coordination between the provincial government, regencies/cities, regional apparatuses, communities, and industry players.
Each festival is designed to showcase the unique character of its respective region, opening economic opportunities for local communities without sacrificing cultural identity.
In practice, the 40 cultural activities will form the backbone of this calendar, reinforcing Bali as a destination rooted in tradition.
Meanwhile, sports, MICE, fashion, music, and culinary events become the branches that broaden its appeal.
