Manchester United secured an important victory in the 25th week of the Premier League. Playing at Old Trafford, the Red Devils overcame Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 in a match marked by Cristian Romero's red card.
MU started aggressively from kickoff. The first chance came from Bryan Mbeumo's shot that sailed over the bar. Bruno Fernandes also threatened, but his effort missed the target.
The match dynamics shifted significantly in the 30th minute when Tottenham were reduced to 10 men after Romero received a straight red card for a reckless challenge on Casemiro.

MU capitalized well on the numerical advantage. In the 38th minute, Mbeumo broke the deadlock after receiving a pass from Kobbie Mainoo. Just before halftime, Casemiro nearly doubled the lead, but his header was saved by Guglielmo Vicario.
Entering the second half, MU maintained dominance. Two goals were disallowed for offside before Bruno Fernandes finally sealed the victory in the 81st minute, converting Diogo Dalot's cross. The 2-0 scoreline held until full time.
This result lifts MU to fourth place in the provisional Standings with 44 points from 25 matches, nine points behind leaders Arsenal. Tottenham remain stuck in 14th position with 29 points.
Meanwhile, Cole Palmer starred in Chelsea's Victory as they defeated Wolverhampton Wanderers 3-1 at Molineux Stadium. The young English midfielder netted a first-half hat-trick within just 25 minutes.
Chelsea pressed early and earned a 13th-minute penalty after João Pedro was fouled by Matt Doherty. Palmer converted calmly. An identical foul occurred in the 35th minute, and Palmer again scored from the spot. Three minutes later, Palmer completed his hat-trick with a clinical finish after receiving Marc Cucurella's pass.
Wolves reduced the deficit through Toluwase Arokodare's 54th-minute goal, but Chelsea controlled proceedings until the final whistle. This victory keeps The Blues fifth with 43 points, just one point from the Champions League zone. Wolves sink deeper into the relegation battle.
From London, Arsenal maintained their title-chasing consistency. The Gunners defeated Sunderland 3-0 at Emirates Stadium to preserve their top spot.
Arsenal opened the scoring just before halftime through Martin Zubimendi's volley from Leandro Trossard's cross. The hosts continued dominating after the break. Viktor Gyökeres scored Arsenal's second in the 66th minute from Kai Havertz's assist. The Swedish striker added another in injury time after connecting with Gabriel Martinelli's pass.
This win sees Arsenal collect 56 points from 25 games, nine points clear of their closest rival Manchester City. Sunderland remain mid-table.
