Thailand's Ambition Shakes Southeast Asia with Disneyland-Level Theme Park.

Thailand is preparing to strengthen its dominance with an ambitious plan to bring a Disneyland-class amusement park to the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), a strategic region in southeastern Thailand. This area is projected to become the integrated entertainment and recreation epicenter of Southeast Asia.

Fully supported by the government, this mega project is designed to go far beyond the concept of a conventional amusement park. The EEC area will be transformed into an integrated entertainment complex, combining a global-scale amusement park, top-tier infrastructure, world-class Sports venues, and state-of-the-art entertainment spaces.

The selection of EEC is not without reason. This area already has an infrastructure foundation ranging from an international airport, a High-Speed Rail network, to a deep-sea port. 

This connectivity makes EEC a strategic hub, connecting Thailand's main tourist centers such as Bangkok, Pattaya, and Rayong, ensuring a steady flow of both Domestic Tourists and international tourists throughout the year.

In its development blueprint, Thailand plans to build a sports stadium with a capacity of up to 80 thousand spectators, complete with state-of-the-art facilities. 

Not only that, a giant concert hall will be built to support international events and large-scale festivals throughout the year, strengthening the area's appeal as a cross-segment entertainment destination.

To realize this grand vision, Thailand will adopt a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) scheme, which combines government oversight with investment and expertise from the global private sector.
