Persebaya Surabaya has officially introduced its two latest foreign signings for the continuation of the BRI Super League 2025/2026 competition. The two Brazilian players are expected to bring new dimensions to Bajol Ijo's gameplay, both in attack and defense.
Persebaya's new foreign players are Bruno Paraiba and Jefferson Silva.
The introduction was made through a video upload on Persebaya's official social media account. The post showed Jefferson Silva and Bruno Paraiba wearing the club's gear of the team nicknamed Bajol Ijo.

The club management included a Surabaya-style greeting as a warm welcome to the two new recruits.
"lki lho Rek (this is it, friend), Persebaya's second Bruno, Bruno Paraiba. The striker Paraiba didn't come alone. He arrived with Jefferson Silva, a left-footed player who plays as a left-back. Welcome Rek, let's take Persebaya to soar even higher," wrote the club's official social media account @officialpersebaya.
Bruno Paraiba and Jefferson Silva were introduced gradually before finally being featured together in an official video.
In terms of track record, Bruno Paraiba arrives with experience playing outside Brazil.
Before joining Persebaya, he played in foreign competitions for Cheonan City FC, a K-League 2 club in the second tier of South Korean Football.
Paraiba, often positioned in midfield or attack, excels in mobility and goal-scoring instincts.
Meanwhile, Jefferson Silva brings a different character with defensive experience.
Jefferson Silva has played for several clubs in Brazil. Most recently, he played for Operario Ferroviario Esporte Clube, a second-tier Serie B club.
Jefferson is known as a defender with strong dueling capabilities and disciplined area guarding.
With the introduction of Bruno Paraiba and Jefferson Silva, Persebaya Surabaya sends a clear signal of their serious intent to build a competitive squad to challenge for the top positions in the BRI Super League 2025/2026.
