Chelsea has entered another transitional phase. The new year began with a managerial change as the West London club sacked Enzo Maresca. The big question now is: who will lead The Blues amid a packed schedule of domestic and European competitions?
The coaching change comes at a crucial moment, with Chelsea still competing in the Premier League, Carabao Cup, FA Cup, and the Champions League.

Maresca's replacement hasn't been officially announced yet, but internal club dynamics are becoming clearer. One of the strongest names emerging is Liam Rosenior, currently managing Strasbourg.
Skysports links Rosenior to the five-time Premier League champions because Strasbourg is also owned by BlueCo, Chelsea's parent company.
The structural connection between Chelsea and Strasbourg is a key factor fueling this speculation.
Besides Rosenior, at least six other big names are caught up in the rumour mill: Oliver Glasner, Cesc Fabregas, Andoni Iraola, Roberto De Zerbi, Xavi Hernandez, and Zinedine Zidane.
However, the speculation is converging with Rosenior as the frontrunner. The other six names are reportedly unlikely to take the helm at Stamford Bridge.
Strasbourg's Performance as an Argument
Beyond the ownership link, Rosenior's performance with Strasbourg is a major consideration. The performance of the club nicknamed Le Racing has been quite promising in Ligue 1 and the Conference League.
Strasbourg currently sits seventh in the French league and leads their Conference League group.
With that record, Rosenior is not only a structurally connected figure but also meritorious based on achievement.
Whoever is eventually appointed as Maresca's replacement will become the seventh manager since Chelsea changed ownership from Roman Abramovich to Todd Boehly.
The six previous managers were Thomas Tuchel, Graham Potter, Bruno Saltor (interim manager), Frank Lampard, Mauricio Pochettino, and Maresca.
Given the long list of managerial changes and the demand for instant results, the Chelsea manager's seat remains one of the hottest positions in European Football.
