Erling Haaland has reaffirmed his status as the deadliest goal machine in the English Premier League during the 2025-2026 season. The star striker of Manchester City was instrumental in his team's emphatic victory over West Ham United, while simultaneously achieving a historic milestone surpassing one of world Football Legend's accomplishments, Cristiano Ronaldo.

Manchester City secured all three points when hosting West Ham United in matchday 17 of the 2025-2026 Premier League. Playing at Etihad Stadium on Saturday, 20 December 2025, Pep Guardiola's squad dominated and sealed the match with a convincing 3-0 win.

This victory was largely due to Erling Haaland's outstanding performance. The Norwegian national team striker was directly involved in all of Manchester City's goals.

"All I can say is I'm happy for him. I hope he keeps going forward," said Gvardiol.

This tally exceeds Cristiano Ronaldo's record of 103 goals while wearing the Manchester United jersey. Even more impressively, Haaland reached this number in significantly less time. He required only 114 matches to score 104 goals, while Ronaldo netted 113 goals across 236 appearances.

This comparison highlights a significant difference in efficiency. Essentially, Haaland reached 104 goals 122 matches faster than the Portuguese superstar. A record that further solidifies Haaland's reputation as the most efficient striker in modern English Premier League history.

With his relatively young age and the stable playing system of Manchester City, Haaland's opportunity to widen the gap from Ronaldo's Record remains wide open. If this consistency continues, other Premier League records may well fall to the Norwegian striker's sharpness.
